The SI Swimsuit model returns this May for her third feature with the magazine.

Yumi Nu made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2021 and returned in ’22 for a historic feature when she became the first plus-sized Asian model to land on the magazine’s cover. The model, singer and entrepreneur will return to the pages of SI Swimsuit this May after being photographed in Dominica.

The Blueki founder achieved another major milestone last year when she booked the cover of Vogue Japan in April. She was the first plus sized model to earn the opportunity and as a second-generation woman of Japanese and Dutch descent, it was a lifelong dream come true.

“This is truly groundbreaking in so many ways,” the 26-year-old gushed during the 2022 SI Swimsuit issue’s launch party which was the same week as the release of her first EP Hajme. “To be a part of making history like this is like a childhood wound is closing. I get to be representation for people like me and that means so much.”
