1000lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton pays tribute to estranged husband after he dies

1000-lb Sisters’ Tammy Slaton shared a tribute to husband Caleb Willingham, who she split from in April, after he died aged 40.

The news of his death was confirmed by his step-mother Shirley Willingham, to TMZ, although the cause of death hasn’t yet been revealed.

He first made his way into the public eye when the romance between him and Tammy, 36, started to blossom.

Caleb went on to make numerous appearances on 1000-Lb Sisters, and even more so after they tied the knot in November.

Tammy has since taken to Instagram to share a tribute to Caleb which has been liked by more than 136,000 of her loyal followers.

The TLC star posted: “Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness”, followed by two red heart emojis.

She also posted a series of pictures of the former happy couple together during Christmas time last year.

They first met at a rehabilitation centre in Ohio last year when they were both receiving weight loss treatment.

Caleb proposed to Tammy in October and got married the following month but split just five months later.

Tammy was released from the rehab facility in February after she had weight loss surgery which Caleb wasn’t eligible for.

She moved back to Kentucky and the couple drifted apart as a result with rumors starting to circulate of their split.

He reportedly shared a cryptic post hinting at their split in April but it was actually confirmed they were no longer an item the following month.

Caleb’s younger brother also posted an emotional tribute on Facebook.

He wrote: “I can’t believe I’m even making this post, but today GOD called my big brother home.

“RIP Caleb Willingham aka Killla K aka Double K aka one-half of the dynamic WWF tag team champions The W Boys aka my biggest supporter in anything I do.

“You will be forever loved and missed. Until we meet again.”

1000-Lb Sisters is available to watch on TLC.
