Allure readers are nothing but loyal to their favorite products and there is no better example of this than the annual Readers’ Choice Awards. Each year, several veterans stay in the winner’s circle, but you also comb (pun intended) through some of the industry’s buzziest products to see which ones make the cut (pun also intended). And y’all got taste. In the hair-care category, we’ve seen several products earn that coveted seal in large part for the consistency with which they perform — and boy, do they perform.
Briogeo’s Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask, universally loved by people with the finest, straightest hair to those with the tightest coils, nabbed yet another prize, which is understandable. It is that good. Moroccanoil’s Curl Defining Cream, Batiste’s Dry Shampoo Original, and Wet Brush’s Original Detangler are also included in this year’s set of OG winners.
But don’t get it twisted: You guys still blessed some newcomers with their flowers. OGX Renewing + Argan Oil of Morocco Extra Penetrating Oil got top honors, too, along with Good Dye Young’s I’m Bored Hair Makeup.
