Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation is all set to unveil a new Adiyogi statue at the Sadhguru Sannidhi in Chikkaballapura near Bengaluru this month, a statement from the Isha Foundation said. The iconic face of the Adiyogi, which is 112 feet tall, will be unveiled on Sunday at 6 pm by India’s Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.

Other notable figures like Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Isha Foundation’s Founder Sadhguru are also set to attend.

This Adiyogi statue is a replica of the one at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, the statement added. The Isha Foundation is also running a 21-day Adiyogi ratha yatra since the last week of December to invite communities from the surrounding villages where the Sadhguru Sannidhi is situated.

After the unveiling, there will be a 14-minute light and sound show, called the “Divya Darshanam”, with performances by students of Isha Samskriti, a wing of the Isha Foundation, and musical ensemble Sounds of Isha.

The Sadhguru Sannidhi is expected to witness its first celebration on the occasion of Makara Sankranthi, the harvest festival, with thousands of people likely to participate.

“Sadhguru will consecrate the Yogeshwara Linga near Adiyogi as a manifestation of the five chakras in the human system. With the presence of theYogeshwara Linga, Adiyogi will become a living entity,” the Foundation said in the statement.

The Sadhguru Sannidhi will house a Naga shrine, the Adiyogi, Yogeshwara Linga, Linga Bhairavi temple and two theerthakunds or energized water bodies.

Those interested to participate in the unveiling of the Adiyogi can register for free on the Isha Foundation website.
