Last week, Harry Potter nerds were blessed with the reunion of a lifetime as the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special aired on HBO Max.
IDK about you, but personally, my emotions were all over the place, especially when they started showing the cutest BTS footage of baby Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint that I’ve ever seen.

This one really gets me.
After that, all I’ve wanted is to see more behind-the-scenes footage of the trio from the early days, being the most adorable friends. So, here are 17 of the cutest BTS moments from the first two Harry Potter films.

When Rupert forgot he was in a serious movie for a minute.

When Emma embarrassed Dan on set and he had this precious response.

The infamous “slaps” games referenced in the special, where Tom is very determined and Dan is an adorable spectator.

And then this other clip where, as Dan says, Emma “will not lose.”

Turns out, Ron actually did eat all of that chocolate in the original Hogwarts Express scene.

And then in that same scene, when Dan and Rupert got a little slap-happy and wrote this little tune.

When Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan) told Rupert to “be funny” and he did not disappoint.

When Dan lost a tooth on set and was quite pleased with himself.

And finally, when Emma was apparently determined to teach everyone and their mom on set her hand-clap games.
