19 Beauty Brands That Are Giving Back for Giving Tuesday

Benefit Cosmetics is embracing Giving Tuesday in two ways this year: by giving its community of makeup lovers the opportunity to send a free holiday EmpowHERment Post card to a loved one. In exchange for each card sent, the brand will donate $5 to Planned Parenthood

Josie Maran Pro-Retinol Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter in Pink Grapefruit

Fans of Josie Maran’s beloved Pro-Retinol Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter in Pink Grapefruit will be delighted to know that, in honor of Giving Tuesday, 100 percent of proceeds generated by this pink, algae-rich formula will go to the Coral Reef Alliance. This 30-year-old organization is dedicated to coral reef preservation by way of community outreach and scalable solutions.

Namesake The Daily Moisturizer

The Daily Moisturizer from Namesake enlists the help of ingredients like Polyhydroxy Acids, rosehip oil, and butterfly bush to deliver hydration and glow. In honor of Giving Tuesday, 10 percent of proceeds will go to National Medical Fellowships, a scholarship dedicated to funding BIPOC students in the medical field. This scholarship is near and dear to the brand as it was previously awarded to Lynn McKinley Grant, MD, a board-certified dermatologist based in Washington, D.C., and Namesake Advisor (as well as the mother of Namesake’s founder, Davlyn Mosley).

Farmhouse Fresh Make It Melt Silky Cleansing Balm

You may want to paws (pun intended) and read up on Farmhouse Fresh’s Giving Tuesday initiative, where 20 percent of all sales will be donated to the transport of over 100 shelter dogs throughout Texas to Pacific Northwest and East Coast rescue partners. If you’re stumped on which products to peruse, we recommend the Make It Melt Silky Milk Cleansing Balm — a sorbet-soft cleanser that effortlessly removes makeup while Vitamin C, sunflower seed oil, and FarmHouse Fresh-grown lemon balm extract brighten your complexion.

Grown Alchemist Body Cleanser

Grown Alchemist is donating 20 percent of all orders to Cool Earth, a charity dedicated to fighting the climate crisis by focusing on rainforest conservation and supporting the communities that live alongside them. So if you’ve been meaning to indulge in one of the brand’s products (our favorite is the bergamot, chamomile, and rose Body Cleanser housed in a glass amber bottle), there’s certainly no time like the present.

The Body Shop Share the Love Bundle

From November 16 to 30, The Body Shop is unveiling their Share the Love Bundle — a reusable pouch featuring four full-sized bottles of Drops of Youth Liquid Peel, Avocado Body Butter, Himalayan Charcoal Skin Clarifying Night Peel, Tea Tree Purifying Soap, and Lemon Purifying Hand Wash. The best part? For every pouch sold, $1 (up to $25,000) will be donated to Advocates for Youth, a U.S.-based organization dedicated to funding youth activists.

Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation

Little Monsters will go ga-ga over Haus Lab’s Giving Tuesday initiative. While the brand usually donates $1 from every purchase to Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation (an organization dedicated to providing mental health services), it will be doubling the contribution to $2 per purchase in honor of Giving Tuesday. And by the way, this would be an excellent time to test the TikTok- and Allure-beloved Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, a long-wearing and weightless formula suitable for all skin types.

Chantecaille Black Jaguar Eye Quartet

Chantecaille believes philanthropy is a year-round pursuit, which is evident by the luxury brand’s on-site give-back beauty vertical. In partnership with ShoppingGives, five percent of all proceeds are donated to a variety of charities that correspond with the product you purchase. For example, $2.10 of every Black Jaguar eye shadow palette (a quartet of shimmery pearl, bronze, black, and blue shades) sold will go to the Amazon Sacred Headwaters

Selfmade Secure Attachment Comfort+ Serum

AAPI-owned brand Selfmade is joining forces with World Central Kitchen, an organization that can be found at the frontlines of humanitarian and climate crises by providing sustainable food systems for impacted communities. On Giving Tuesday, Selfmade is donating 20 percent of all sales to the initiative and, as an added perk, hosting a 20 percent off sale. Time to stock up on the hydrating Secure Attachment Comfort+ Serum, stat.

Moon Juice Plump Jelly Hyaluronic Serum

Dedicated to plant-based and science-backed products that enhance your daily routine, Moon Juice is participating in Giving Tuesday by donating one percent of all proceeds to one of four social impact partners: Girls IncSurf RiderSummaeverythang, and Sustainable Harvest. Customers can choose which of the four organizations their donation will benefit and, when it comes to product selection, we recommend the Plump Jelly; it’s a serum packed with hyaluronic acid and peptides to provide long-lasting moisture.

Giving Tuesday is a year-long affair for Maude, a company dedicated to sexual wellness and education. All proceeds of their Sex Ed for All Hat (a Dakota Johnson favorite) go to SEICUS, an organization founded in 1964 by Mary S. Calderone, MD, a medical director at Planned Parenthood who noticed a gap in sexual education and information. SEICUS, therefore, aims to bridge that gap.

Ina Anti-Chafe Liquid Powder

Ina, a new brand launched by a cosmetic chemist and OB/GYN dedicated to effective, science-backed intimate care products, is donating 20 percent of sales to three charities: 500 Scientist, Helping Women Period, or CAMFED. All three organizations provide women with educational tools or menstrual products; the customer can even decide which charity they’d like their donation to go toward.

Barefoot Dreams CozyChic INSPI(RED) Stripe Throw

Beloved for ultra-soft loungewear and cozy-up-in-bed home products, Barefoot Dreams collaborated with (RED) earlier this year to launch this CozyChic INSPI(RED) Stripe Throw. Fifteen percent of proceeds will be donated to the Global Fund (which aims to abolish HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria worldwide) with a minimum donation of $100,000 — and that’s not just for Giving Tuesday, but year-round.

Colorproof will be donating 20 percent of sales to the It Gets Better Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth with media and education. And if you’re not sure where your shopping journey should begin, we recommend Colorproof’s Smooth Drops, a non-greasy oil that tames flyaways and frizz while providing humidity-resistant shine.
