Kohli, who missed India’s 2-1 win in the T20 series against Sri Lanka, hit an 87-ball 113 to put India in control of the first one-day international after the visitors were asked to bat first at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. India reached a commanding 373-7 in its 50 overs with half-centuries from captain Rohit Sharma (83) and Shubman Gill (70).
