For the first time in his career, Draymond Green is heading into free agency without the Golden State Warriors considered a lock to bring him back. Now a few choice teams are emerging as potential suitors for him.

Appearing on ESPN’s Get Up, NBA insider Brian Windhorst said that the Detroit Pistons and Sacramento Kings are teams to watch in the event Green doesn’t re-sign with the Warriors. However, Windhorst made it clear that the Warriors want Green back and the feeling is mutual.

“There are some teams out there with cap space that are intriguing options for him: The Detroit Pistons, which would be home; the Sacramento Kings have cleaned up their books and opened up a bunch of salary cap space after a draft night deal. Both of those teams have interest in him. But I don’t think either are compelling enough to have him leave the Warriors, especially if they’re willing to make him a representative contract offer – and all signs point to them doing so,” Windhorst said.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has gone so far as to say that the team is not a contender without Green. Whether or not that correlates to the team giving him the reported nine-figure contract he wants is a different story.

Draymond Green is the fourth-oldest and second-longest tenured member of the Warriors. He’s been their starting power forward for the better part of a decade and is one of the few players to have won four NBA titles with them.

Will Green re-up with the Warriors once again?
