What are UConn’s odds to win the National Championship again
UConn is the favorite to repeat as National Champions. The team will lose some quality talent such as Jordan Hawkins to the NBA in addition to seniors Tristen Newton, Nahiem Alleyne and Joey Calcatera, but we will need to wait to hear about the future of a pair of junior’s, Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player Adama Sanogo and Andre Jackson, and if they will return to Stoors in hopes of repeating.
The Huskies were as high as +8000 before the season, but blitzed non conference play and announced themselves as title contenders.
The Huskies will enter the 2023-2024 season under different circumstances, the favorite.
Blue bloods like Duke and Kentucky will bring in highly touted recruiting classes to try and take back the crown of college basketball supremacy while Cinderella’s like Florida Atlantic are no longer seen as long shots, +3000 heading into the offseason.
It’s worth noting that the transfer portal still has plenty of key names in it, including Oral Roberts’ star guard Max Abmas and Michigan’s Hunter Dickinson, just a few of the countless names on the move this offseason.
College basketball is an evolving landscape with the emergence of the transfer portal, so make sure to keep an eye on who is on the move and to where to see how the title odds are impacted.
