Twenty-six years ago, Allure released its first list of Best of Beauty Award-winning products in the 1996 October issue. That year, Allure editors tested several products to come up with 234 winners. Though the process changes a bit from year to year, annually we always come together to meticulously test and pick products that are the crème de la crème. It’s no easy feat to test hundreds of different beauty products (especially for our poor skin) but somehow each year we manage to narrow it down to a list of winners that we present in September.
With 26 years down, there are hundreds upon hundreds of Best of Beauty winners that are great for the beauty lover in your life. Of course, we stand by all of our winners, but we have to highlight a select few for your 2022 holiday season.
