An extremely intriguing aspect of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is how they’re expanding the story through different mediums, including an upcoming Manga spin-off of Across the Spider-Verse focusing on Otoha Okutamiya, a Japanese school-girl who moonlights as Octopus Girl, her universe’s version of Doctor Octopus. With this title directly tying into Across the Spider-Verse, it would be a cool tip-of-the-hat to Manga fans if Okutamiya showed face (and mechanical tentacles) in Beyond the Spider-Verse.
