With Kia continuing to deliver outstanding vehicles in 2022, 2023 looks to be no different. Their flagship Kia Telluride delivers a huge bang for the buck and gets even better with additional models and availability.

Our week-long tester, a 2023 Kia Telluride SX-Prestige X-Pro AWD. Yes, a whole lot of letters in their naming convention, but one that I think you will come to enjoy. Back in January of 2022, we experienced the Telluride SX-Prestige, which really gained a lot of traction from my readers and with the X-Pro additions in 2023, reviewing this was a must.

And a must it is, the X-Pro is awesome! Additions to last year’s test model don’t include powertrain adjustments yet we notice 18 inch black wheels, all-terrain tires, exterior color offset styling, increased towing capacity, self leveling rear suspension and tow-mode. This in addition to a 110V inverter outlet make the Telluride perfect for that weekend camping trip. The Telluride X-Pro package adds 500 lbs. of towing making it a total of 5,500 lbs. total. Similar to Honda’s Passport TrailSport, the Telluride X-Pro is beefier looking, but one that has alot of appeal. Adding the X-Pro additions to the already great Telluride just explodes the consumer base that much more. As a mass-market manufacturer like Kia, the Telluride is a Chart-topper in the 7-passenger SUV category and in Grasso’s Garage as well..

Wrapped in Midnight Lake Blue and a Terracotta Interior, this combination was flawless. 2nd row-captains seats, great storage space, and a 12.3” infotainment screen was easy to use in typical Kia fashion. Next to FCA’s UConnect system, Kia certainly has figured out usability for infotainment, conquering the easy-to-use category nicely.

When Kia wants a slice of the review pie, I am certain that what they bring to the table will always be appetizing. For the Telluride, this has been a vehicle I have recommended to families abound as it really fits most situations. Whether large or small, price or warranty, Kia seems to always be first on the list for recommendations. And to all of my readers who have already reached out requesting recommendations in this category, the Telluride still tops it, and now with the X-Pro additions.
