Black folks have always played a tremendous hand in pushing creative culture forward. From innovative musical masterpieces to gorgeous art on display world-wide, the impact of Black people in society is undeniable. As a fashion editor, it brings me immense joy to see both the up and coming and well-established Black-owned brands stocking beautiful products at my go-to retailers. We all know Nordstrom has a pretty robust selection of goods—and Black-owned (and founded) brands are among the retailers offerings as well. On the retailer’s website, there is a dedicated curation of these offerings that serve the purpose of uplifting and highlighting these Black brands.
