The smoke from the mezcal, the citrus from the earl gray-infused Cocchi Rosa, the bitterness from the Faccio Brutto Aperitivo, and the warm spice notes from the allspice dram means that the cocktail hits a lot of popular flavors, while still coming together to create a bright, warm, and slightly bitter pre-dinner drink. But the best part is its union of 4 different fruit flavors Yuzu (Yuzu shu liqueur), lychee (Giffard Lichi-li liqueur) pear (pear brandy), and lemon juice. With no added sweetener it is the perfect fruit cocktail blend without being sweet. While almost completely composed of liqueurs and spirits, the low ABV of its main components make it crushable and non-abrasive; the perfect formula for a Valentine’s Day cocktail,” said Tim Sweeney, head bartender, Pebble Bar.

Kilkea Cupid’s Hope

At Hermione’s, Restaurant 1180, The Bistro, and The Keep inside Kilkea Castle in County Kildare, Ireland, Dawid Smietana, Kilkea Castle’s Food & Beverage Manager, says: “When creating the Kilkea Cupid’s Hope, we wanted to offer a drink that would inspire and enhance l’amour for Valentine’s and beyond.
