49ers quarterback Brock Purdy announced his engagement to girlfriend Jenna Brandt on Instagram Sunday.

In the post Purdy, 23, is down on one knee with a ring. The caption reads “My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!”
Brandt was a volleyball star at Purdy’s alma mater Iowa State University, and the two have been dating since college.
The San Francisco 49ers reposted the photos and congratulated the couple on social media.
49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey, who also recently got engaged to a former Miss Universe, commented “Yessir! The President.”
Purdy is currently in Florida rehabbing the torn UCL in his right elbow, but he expects to be able to play by the 49ers season opener on Sep. 10.
