On 21 September 2022, within the framework of Global Recycling Week, 4evergreen will be hosting the hybrid event: “The Circularity Challenge: How Recycling Contributes Towards the European Green Deal.” The conference will be live-streamed from the Autoworld Museum at Parc du Cinquantenaire, Brussels.
The event will be the perfect opportunity to find out more about the innovative nature of the fibre-based packaging industry. Whilst being an industry with a long history of efficiency, innovation has been a central facet of the industry’s journey to making fibre-based packaging the most recycled packaging material by volume in Europe.
In the first section of this event, participants will hear from policymakers and industry leaders as they look at how Europe can develop on its position as a leader in the recycling industry, with European materials and European technologies. In the second half of the event, we will take a deep dive into innovation and design, bringing in perspectives from outside of the packaging industry. The event will also initiate a constructive discussion about the concept of recycling – what defines different recycling processes, and what are the implications of this in upcoming legislation.
