While music festivals are now happening nearly every weekend, year-round in Southern California, it’s sometimes nice to get away and change up the scenery a bit.
If you’re looking to venture into the festival scene outside of California, this year’s Las Vegas music fest offerings provide niche genre experiences from EDM, metal, punk rock, alternative, pop-punk and more.
A few of the festivals have only announced dates and locations, some have sold-out and have a waitlist option in case additional tickets go on sale and others have tiered admission passes that may no longer be available.

If the festival you’re eyeing doesn’t have passes available and you can’t stand the thought of a waitlist, it may be worth looking into some of the hotel packages that include festival admission. Be sure to visit official festival websites for the most up-to-date information and pricing.

When We Were Young
One of 2022’s most anticipated emo and alternative festivals will return. Last year’s weather conditions caused the event to cancel the first of three of the festival’s scheduled dates, leaving concertgoers disappointed and scrambling to find artists performing at neighboring venues and casinos. It did, however, pick back up and received a positive response from concertgoers on the other dates, despite much speculation and hesitation going into the event with so many artists on just one bill. When We Were Young 2023, so far, is only scheduled to take place once and has a roster of emo and alternative bands that will stir up nostalgia from Green Day, Blink-182, The Offspring, Good Charlotte, Rise Against and more.
