SI Swimsuit’s 2022 co-Rookie of the Year returns to the magazine this May for her third feature.

Katie Austin has been on a roll this year—and it’s only April. Over the past few months, she has wrapped up her 2023 SI Swimsuit photo shoot, taken on a new role on Snapchat’s creator board, celebrated five years of the newly updated Katie Austin App, and earlier this week, she got engaged!

The fitness influencer was discovered through the brand’s Swim Search in 2021 where she was named a finalist. Last year, she was declared co-Rookie of the Year alongside her BFF, Christen Harper. 

The USC alumna is a certified trainer and health coach and the host of the Austin AF podcast. She regularly shares workout videos, healthy recipes and inspirational messages about living a balanced lifestyle on her Instagram, TikTok and website.

“The shoot is something you can’t really put into words,” the Virgina native gushed. “I cried when I got home just because it’s something you dream about for so many years, and then you realize it’s actually happening, and it’s indescribable. The thrill of the entire shoot day keeps your adrenaline high for days, but at the same time, I think people need to know it’s hard work. The shoot day is totally for you, the adventure day is created around you, and the content is focused on making you feel your best self.”
