1. SEE & HEAR: A slack-key guitar wizard, and more

Slack-key guitar is of course associated with Hawaii, but one of the best players in the world lives right here in the Bay Area. 2. SEE: A revered Bay Area dance company

The talented and adventurous Alonzo King LINES Ballet is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and the fun includes a brand new work you can catch beginning this weekend.

3 PLAY: See the real Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz is a lot more than a hippie haven with a boardwalk. Let us be your guide for a fun destination that also boasts with great food, museums and shopping. And don’t forget to check out the amazing 19 “Sea Walls” murals.
