Olivia Brower made her SI Swimsuit Issue debut in 2019 and returned to the magazine the following year for a photo shoot in the British Virgin Islands with photographer Josie Clough.

The California native practically lives in a bikini, and her Instagram is full of beach content and aesthetic lifestyle snaps.

“I am filled with gratitude to be in this issue,” Brower said after receiving the news that she would return to the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2020. “We all set intentions for ourselves in our careers and Sports Illustrated has been one of mine. It feels surreal to watch my dreams manifest into reality. I hope that I may be an inspiration to all women and instill in them that whatever their path and goals may be, they can achieve anything they truly desire.”

Brower has a unique outlook on success. After modeling for Vitamin A, Intimissimi, Tropic Of C and Clough’s swimwear line, It’s Now Cool, as well as landing on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, she has learned a thing or two about being confident and not comparing herself to others.

“I feel like people maybe feel a pressure to be this role model and you don’t have to be. When I look at myself in the mirror, I’m O.K. with it. I need to just not compare myself to other people and think that I’m less than because I’m not the same as another person,” she explained. “I don’t think success can be a miracle or material I think it’s like, ‘Are you doing what you want to be doing?’ and ‘Is it making you happy?’ If you’ve got those two things going for you, you’re pretty successful.”
