OUAGADOUGOU, Burkina Faso, 15th September, 2022 (WAM) — Eight soldiers were killed and 12 others were wounded in an attack on their unit in northern Burkina Faso, while 41 terrorists were killed during clashes between the army and the attackers.
An army statement said that the “unit was ‘ambushed’ 11 km from Oursi, Oudalan Province, Sahel Region, on Tuesday.”
