The NBA announced Friday that forward Miles Bridges has been suspended 30 total games due to a domestic violence incident involving the mother of his children.
Back in November, Bridges pleaded no contest to a felony domestic violence charge. He was ultimately sentenced to three years of probation.
Even though Bridges missed the entire 2022-23 regular season because he failed to sign a new contract, the NBA announced that he has already served 20 games from his suspension.
As a result, Bridges will only be suspended for 10 games next season.
Sports fans around the country are understandably disappointed by the NBA’s decision.
This is so damn disappointing.
I have so much more to say than that but I’m so tired of having to be the one to say it. https://t.co/O55b77zcAB

The victim accused Bridges of assaulting her in front of their two children. At the time, he faced three domestic violence-related charges.
Bridges last played for the Hornets during the 2021-22 season. He averaged 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.
