With the series tied, many NBA fans were looking forward to the Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns Game 3 matchup on Thursday.
One reason is because of All-Star forward Kawhi Leonard, who has dominated the first two games of the Western Conference first-round series. Unfortunately, Leonard has been ruled out with knee soreness, which increases the Suns’ chances of taking the series lead. That is how NBA Hall of Famer Magic Johnson reacted to the news on social media.
“I am looking forward to the outcome of the Warriors vs. Kings game but the biggest game of the night is Suns vs. the Clippers. The best player on the floor for the first two games, Kawhi Leonard, can’t play tonight. What a big break for the Suns!”
