How to get 80 Free Pulls in Honkai: Star Rail

Honkai: Star Rail has a great story and a stunning universe to explore. HoYoverse has done a great job building a captivating world that players want to spend time in. But let’s face it, we all know the real draw with these types of games is the gatcha systems.

Thanks to phenomenal fan support, Honkai: Star Rail reached 10 million pre-registrations, which brought some rewards, but where are they? This is how to get 80 free pulls in Honkai: Star Rail.

How to get 80 free pulls in Honkai: Star Rail

Pulls in Honkai: Star Rail are called Warps, and although you technically get 80 of them as advertised, you don’t get them right away. Unfortunately, if you want them all, there are a few hoops to jump through.

Let’s start with the easy ones. When you access the Mailbox function, you will have a welcome gift of 20 Star Rail Passes. Each Warp costs a single Star Rail Pass. This may be an introductory offer, so if you’re starting Honkai: Star Rail a while after release, you may receive something different.

Most of the 80 free pulls in Honkai: Star Rail are tied to your Trailblaze Level. If you’ve played Genshin Impact, this is the equivalent of your Adventure Rank. When you reach certain Trailblaze Levels, you’ll earn Star Rail Passes and currency to buy them. Trailblaze Levels give a ton of pulls, but it will take multiple hours of playtime if you want everything. You’ll get these rewards at the following levels:

• Trailblaze Level 5 – 10 Star Rail Pass
• Trailblaze Level 15 – 10 Star Rail Pass
• Trailblaze Level 25 – 10 Star Rail Pass
• Trailblaze Level 35 – 10 Star Rail Pass

You’ll also earn 1600 Stellar Jades (800 at Level 25 and 35, respectively). 1600 Stellar Jades are the equivalent of 10 Warps, and you’ll spend this currency if you try to buy a Warp without a pass.

So that’s 70 pulls; where are the other 10? The final set is distributed via daily login rewards over the first week.  

How can I increase my Trailblaze Level?

Trailblaze Level is really just a fancy term for Account Level. The easiest way to increase your Trailblaze Level is by completing quests. If you’re powering through the story and tackling side quests as they appear, you’ll unlock your free pulls in no time.  

Another great way to increase your Trailblaze Level is to spend Trailblaze Points. You have a limited number of these and can spend them on Calyx Challenges. These function almost identically to Ley Line Outcrops in Genshin Impact.
