Kovik is one of the resources you will need to build the Sun and Moon in Warframe. It can be elusive, but once you know where to look, you will have bundles of it. It can be easily spotted in some map regions, even from a height.

Kovik sits atop the cave The Drifter lives in, on the surface of the nightmare environment he is trapped in. You can spot the tree-like plant that contains Kovik in Warframe growing around the map. Kovik is mainly in the northern areas of the map, so hop on your horse and fly up there.

Spotting the plant from the sky is straightforward, so rather than taking ages walking around, fly above the map. Once you spot it, circle down and hit the tree to receive Kovik into your Warframe inventory.

What is Kovik for?

As you play through Duviri Paradox, you will be gifted with two swords; Sun and Moon. These weapons can’t be used outside the expansion until you collect the necessary resources. Once you have what you need, you can construct them on board your ship and use them however you want. Also, you can check our guide on how to get your hands on Rune Marrow here.
