Barcelona are enjoying a 11-point lead at the top of the table with arch-rivals and defending champions Real Madrid behind them. The Xavi Hernandez-led side has picked up 79 points in 32 matches and knows it’s their title to lose.

Barcelona have upped the ante too with the title chase entering decisive stages as they defeated Real Betis 4-0 after losing 2-1 to Rayo Vallecano away from home. The equation is now simpler for Barcelona, win the next two games and lift the title. If achieved, it will be their only title of the season after exiting Copa del Rey, Champions League, and Europa League this season.

Their midweek rival Osasuna, however, are no pushover as they are placed eighth on the points table and are just five points away from sixth-placed Betis, who are holding the last Europa League play-off spot.

Barcelona, however, have come up good against Osasuna in the recent past as they defeated them on the last two occasions they came across. Osasuna’s last defeat against Barcelona came back in 2020 at Barcelona’s citadel Camp Nou.
