Lil Wayne
The hip-hop icon brings his eagerly anticipated Welcome to Tha Carter Tour to the Masonic in San Francisco on May 12. Lil Wayne ranks among the top-selling artists of all time, having reportedly moved more than 100 million records during his career, and has also won five Grammy Awards. Rend Collective
The cool folk-rock band from Northern Island makes its way back to the area for a pair of shows in support of its most recent full-length offering, “Whosoever.” Rend Collective, known for such popular songs as “Build Your Kingdom Here” and “Counting Every Blessing,” performs May 11 at Venture Christian Church in Los Gatos and May 12 at First Baptist Church in Stockton. Metronomy
The acclaimed British electronic music outfit, led by singer-songwriter Joseph Mount, is out on the road in support of its seventh studio album, 2022’s “Small World.” Metronomy performs May 12 at the Fox Theater in Oakland.
