The New York Knicks got dismentled by the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
The team shot just 34.1 percent from the field and 20.0 percent from long distance in the 105-86 defeat at American Airlines Arena.
ESPN’s analyst Jalen Rose blamed the Knicks poor performance on the weather and distractions that come from being in South Beach, one of the most popular destinations in the United States.
“We talk about the night life in Miami and joke about it as well, but also when you’re the road team, you gotta pay attention to that weather and heat,”Rose said. “Because it affects the endurance of your muscles and causes tiredness.
“So if you notice the Knicks are making shots in the paint but missing shots outside of the paint in particular from three.”
The Heat now led the series 2-1 going into Game 4.
