The world’s best golfers are descending on Oak Hill Country Club for the second major of the year, the 2023 PGA Championship.

The Rochester, New York club has hosted the PGA Championship three times over the tournament’s 107-year history, but this year will see some big changes to the course. Oak Hill’s East Course (where the tournament is held) recently underwent a major restoration, returning to a layout inspired by the work of its legendary original architect, Donald Ross.

This year’s tournament will also see upgrades on the technology side, with CBS Sports deploying more cameras, drones, and microphones to capture all the action — which is great news for fans who can’t make it in person.

If you’re one such fan watching from home, read on. Below is a full guide on how to watch the PGA tournament online, including where to get PGA Championship livestreams for free.

2023 PGA Championship Field, Odds

This year’s PGA Championship field of 156 golfers will look familiar to anyone who’s been keeping up with the pro tour.

Jon Rahm — fresh off a win at the Master’s — is this year’s co-favorite to win at Oak Hill, right alongside Scottie Scheffler. Vegas is showing 7-1 betting odds for both golfers, as of writing. Other top prospects include Rory McIlroy (11-1), Patrick Cantlay (18-1), Brooks Koepka (18-1), Dustin Johnson (20-1), Jason Day (20-1), and Justin Thomas (20-1) who took home the Wanamaker Trophy last year.

Unlike the U.S. Open and Open Championship, the PGA has no open qualifying or amateurs. The tournament typically invites the top 100 players in the world, as well as recent major winners, finalists from previous PGAs, and other golfers with recent achievements.

16 LIV players will also be in the field at this year’s PGA, including Phil Mickelson. Tiger Woods, however, will be absent this time around as he recovers from ankle surgery.

Sign up for fuboTV or Paramount+ and ESPN+ to watch the PGA Championship online.
