CBSE Class 12 History Paper 2021: On Monday, December 20 the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 12 History term-1 exam 2021. The question paper carrying a total of 40 marks is reportedly held successfully at all designated centers. As per the analysis, the exam was easy to moderate in difficulty. Students who appear for the Class XII History paper can now check and download the exam analysis, paper difficulty level from the exam experts.
It is reported that students while sharing their views on the difficulty reported that the question paper was carrying 60 multiple-choice questions divided into four sections. Of the total, students had to attempt 50 questions in a time duration of 90 minutes. Based on the bifurcated syllabus, term 1 History paper contained questions from 7 themes- Bricks, Beads and Bone, Kings, Farmers and Towns, Kinship, Caste and Class, Thinkers, Beliefs and Building, Bhakti –Sufi Traditions, and An Imperial Capital: Vijayanagara.
“While comparing with the modal papers, the difficulty level of the term-1 exam was a bit difficult however, the overall paper was balanced”, a student said after the examination.
It should be noted that the official answer key of term-1 exams will be released by the CBSE on its website – cbse.nic.in. The answer key will be released officially after the term 1 exams are over. The exact date when the board will release the answer key has not been decided.
CBSE Class 12 History Paper Analysis:
There were a total of 60 questions in this paper out of which 50 questions were to be attempted. The History paper was divided into four sections- A, B, C, and D. As per the paper insight, section A contains 24 questions of which 20 questions were compulsory. Similarly in section B, of the total 24 questions, 20 questions had to be attempted. While section C contained two case-based questions with 12 sub-questions of which students had to attempt 10 questions. While section D contained questions 59 & 60 which were map-based and were compulsory. Students were given a total of 90 minutes to attempt all questions.
