Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra has been in a big game or two throughout his coaching career. The two-time NBA Finals winning head coach is set for another one on Monday night.
The Heat, the No. 8 seed out of the Eastern Conference, are set to take on the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the conference finals on Monday evening.
Tipoff is set for 8:30 p.m. E.T.
Spoelstra, a sure-fire Hall of Fame head coach at this point, will have his wife and family cheering his team on Monday evening.
The Miami Heat head coach is married to Nikki Spoelstra, a former team dancer.
Most teams have rules about cheerleaders and dancers fraternizing with members of the team, so it’s possible that Erik and Nikki had to keep their relationship quiet for a while.
Nikki has since left the team dancing squad, though she obviously remains a big supporter.
Spoelstra, arguably the best head coach in the NBA at this point in his career, is clearly winning on and off the floor these days.
The veteran NBA head coach and his wife have a beautiful family off the floor.
We wish the Spolestra family all the best moving forward in life.
Game 7, meanwhile, is set to tip off at 8:30 p.m. E.T. on Monday night. It will air on TNT.
