Celtics Have Reportedly Made Big Hire To Joe Mazzulla's Staff

The Boston Celtics have reportedly made a big addition to Joe Mazzulla’s coaching staff.

Mazzulla will return as the team’s head coach for the 2023-24 season, despite some fans calling for a change.

But while there will be no change in head coach, there will be a major addition to his staff.

Longtime NBA assistant coach Sam Cassell will be joining the team’s staff.

Sam Cassell has agreed to join the Boston Celtics coaching staff under Joe Mazzulla, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

That’s a big addition to the team’s coaching staff.

Cassell is one of the most respected and well liked coaches in the entire league.
