When it comes to Kyrie Irving’s future, it seems Vegas only sees two teams being realistic options.
Per Compare.bet’s Kyle Odegard, oddsmakers think it’s a two-team race for Kyrie between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers. Although a few longshots linger in the shadows:
- Dallas Mavericks (-105)
- Los Angeles Lakers (+240)
- Phoenix Suns (+1000)
- Los Angeles Clippers (+1000)
- Miami Heat (+1000)

The eight-time All-Star is headed towards unrestricted free agency and is reportedly angling to team up with former teammate LeBron James in Dallas (despite that being a near impossibility).
The Mavericks would also be able to pay Kyrie the most money, a five-year, $272 million contract, whereas if her were to join LeBron in LA he’d more than likely have to take a pay cut.
Despite the odds, the Lakers front office has been pretty consistent that it isn’t looking to get into the Kyrie Irving business. But the mercurial point guard could be the difference in hanging banner No. 18 in Crypto.com Arena.
