EXCLUSIVE: Extraction 2 director Sam Hargrave reveals they took 29 days to film the 21-minute oner

Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth has proved that he can pull off any action movie. As the actor continues to bask in the success of his last movie Thor: Love and Thunder, he is all set to star in the sequel of his movie Extraction. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Chirs Hemsworth and director Sam Hargrave opened up on the action-packed thriller Extraction 2’s most amazing scene. The movie Extraction 2 has a 21-minute oner which is about to blow the audience’s mind.

When asked about how many days did they take to shoot, director Sam said, “It took us 29 days to shoot the oner. It was an insanely challenging, rewarding undertaking. We had months of rehearsals and 21 shooting days to pull it off.”

Chris Hemsworth talks about his injuries

Further talking about whether Chris got any injuries, he revealed, “I came in with a few injuries, to be honest, and then we’d manage them through the process. It’s just the usual set of bumps and scuffs like playing a game of football every weekend. But, yeah, every day for four months.”

Chris said shooting action sequences in colder climates was a challenge. He shared, “It was unlike (first part) because when we shot the first film it was in the warmer climates. This was when we were shooting in Prague it was winter, and it was freezing. So the tendency to lock up and have joints and ligaments sort of wreak havoc was a little more prominent this time.” The movie is a sequel to Extraction which was released in 2020.

Extraction 2 is scheduled to release on 16 June 2023. The movie also stars Golshifteh Farahani, Rudhraksh Jaiswal, Tinatin Dalakishvili and Idris Elba. The action-thriller will be streaming on Netflix.
