Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan starrer Zara Hatke Zara Bachke had a small promotion window. However, the film still emerged a success at the box office with its fun and relatable story. It had a strong opening weekend collecting over Rs 20 crore. And now, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke has closed week 1 at the box office with amazing figures.

The Vicky-Sara starrer collected Rs 3.24 crore on its first Thursday. With that, it maintained the pace of collecting over Rs 3 crore on each weekday. The drop from Wednesday to Thursday has been minimal for the film which is a great sign. Now, with these figures, the first week collection has reached Rs 37.35 crores for ZHZB.

Friday: Rs 5.49 crore
Saturday: Rs 7.20 crore
Sunday: Rs 9.90 crore
Monday: Rs 4.14 crore
Tuesday: Rs 3.87 crore
Wednesday: Rs 3.51 crore
Thursday: Rs 3.24 crore
Total: Rs 37.35 crore
Vicky-Sara jodi prove to be a hit
The small city appeal of the ZHZB story has been its USP. The fresh pairing of Vicky and Sara has hit the right note with the audience. Since it was their first collaboration, the audience loved their rawness. They have a spunk between them that has attracted the audience.
As for the box office, the film has one full week more to perform with no big releases this week in theatres. The next big release will be Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush. Om Raut’s retelling of the Ramayana is mounted on a humongous budget, and the buzz around the film is positive as of now.
But before that comes, ZHZB has 7 more days to perform at the BO. With the pace that the film has, it might cross the Rs 50 crore mark in its second weekend. However, it’s the second Friday’s collection that will determine the trend for the second week for ZHZB.
