Sunday was a big day for Sue Bird.
The legendary WNBA star had her jersey retired in Seattle. Bird’s fiancee, Megan Rapinoe, accompanied her to the ceremony on Sunday afternoon.
“Congratulations on like, arguably the best career that anyone has ever had in the history of any sport ever,” Rapinoe said.

Bird was a star both on and off the court.
On the court, she consistently competed for championships. Off the court, Bird accomplished a lot, even posing for the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
Some of Bird’s top photos have gone viral.
