Denzel Dumfries says he’s already looking forward to next season with Inter Milan, despite interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Dutchman has been heavily linked with a move away from the San Siro since his move to the blue & black half of Milan.
The full-back joined the club from PSV in 2021 and he’s emerged as a target for the likes of United and Chelsea thanks to his rampaging performances from right-back.
Erik ten Hag is known to be keen to sign a more attack-minded defender, while Reece James has been plagued by injuries in the last 18 months.
However, Dumfries says he’s already focused on making amends for last week’s Champions League defeat to Manchester City and is staying at Inter ‘at the moment’.
‘When we get back together, despite this defeat, we will be hungry for victory next season.
‘What if I stay at Inter? Yes, at the moment I’m staying at Inter.’
Both United and Chelsea are focused on signing a new centre forward.
Harry Kane is United’s priority but Tottenham are unwilling to sell to a Premier League rival.
Mauricio Pochettino wants a new right-back, two central midfielders, a goalkeeper and a striker this summer.
