The Duleep Trophy begins with a quarterfinal bracket. The finalists of the 2022-23 season – West Zone and South Zone – will directly receive a semifinal berth, while, Central Zone, North Zone, the North East Zone and East Zone will clash in the quarterfinal matches.
Central Zone will face East Zone in one of the quarterfinals with the winner set to face West Zone in semifinal 1, while NorthEast Zone and North Zone will battle for the semifinal spot against South Zone.
The quarterfinals and the semifinals will be four-day contests, while the final will be a five-day match. All the matches will be played in Bengaluru with final set to be held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Abhimanyu Easwaran will lead the East Zone side, while Mandeep Singh will captain the North Zone. Priyank Panchal will lead the West Zone. Shivam Mavi to captain Central Zone and, Hanuma Vihari will lead the South Zone, while NorthEast Zone will be led by Rongsen Jonathan.
