The Nuggets’ championship parade this Thursday took a turn for the worse.
A police officer was unfortunately struck by a firetruck that was involved in this Thursday’s championship parade. The officer was rushed to the hospital with “serious injuries.”
According to the Denver Police Department, this incident took place while the firetruck was on its designated parade route.
Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic and other members of the Nuggets were on the truck when this accident occurred. They were escorted off the truck by officials.

The Denver Police Department is launching an investigation into this matter.
This is a scary situation on what was supposed to be a day of triumph for Denver sports fans. The Nuggets just captured their championship in franchise history.
