Comedian and actor Rob Schneider had some advice for country music star Garth Brooks after the latter recently weighed in on the Bud Light controversy.

“I think next time he’s going to stay out of it. Isn’t he? I think Garth Brooks, next time, is going to shut his mouth and he’s going to pretend like, ‘I don’t have anything to do with what beer is chosen in my restaurant,’” Schneider said in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital.

Brooks faced immediate backlash from fans after announcing “every brand of beer” will be available at his Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk, opening later this summer in Nashville.
Bud Light’s parent company Anheuser-Busch has seen a steady decline in sales since April, when a marketing campaign featuring transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney went viral.
“I think the culture is in a very weird little place of hypersensitivity one way or the other. And I think that’s why most people shut their mouths,” Schneider, the 59-year-old star of The Hot Chick and Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigalow, added. “I mean, just from a business standpoint, just shut up, say I have nothing to do with it.”

Garth Brooks doubles down after Bud Light backlash: ‘I love diversity’
Brooks told Billboard earlier this month that once his bar is open “every brand of beer” will be available to patrons.
“I want it to be a place you feel safe in, I want it to be a place where you feel like there are manners and people like one another. And yes, we’re going to serve every brand of beer. We just are. It’s not our decision to make,” he said.”
