How to complete the “Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol” side quest and get Morbol Flower in Final Fantasy 16

Final Fantasy 16 has many side quests and hunts to complete, but “Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol” is a side quest combined with a hunt that ultimately rewards you with Morbol Flower. The only way to get Morbol Flower in Final Fantasy 16 is to defeat Carrot Notorious Mark and complete the “Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol” side quest.

The “Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol” side quest appears at The Hideaway around the time you get the “A Song of Hope” main quest. Grab the quest from Nigel and make your way to The Whispering Waters to defeat Carrot.

Carrot Notorious Mark is found in Three Reads which is on the east side of Rosaria. Fast travel to the Three Reeds point and head north up into the big arena, which is called The Whispering Waters, to find Carrot Notorious Mark.

How to defeat Carror Notorious Mark in Final Fantasy 16

The good news is that Carrot is ranked B as far as Notorious Marks go, so he’s not as dangerous or hard to defeat. While Carrot will still put up a fight, it’ll be easier to defeat than some other Notorious Marks.

To defeat Carrot easily, make sure to stagger him as many times as possible. While Carrot is staggered, use all of your abilities to deal as much damage as possible. If you stick to this formula, you’ll defeat Carrot in no time.

Once Carrot is defeated and you have the Morbol Flower, return to Nigel in The Hideaway to complete the “Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol” side quest. You can also visit The Black Hammer to see what resources you need to craft The Sons of Ouroboros, which are Vambraces that are extremely good.

While getting Gelatinous Mass for the Drakeslayer’s Bracelets is good, The Sons of Ouroboros is even better and well worth hunting down the crafting materials for. With Morbol Flower in hand, all you need is one Stained Loincloth and one Orichalcum.
