The song showcases snow-clad mountains and a captivating display of romance and sizzling chemistry between Alia and Ranveer. Director Karan Johar knows how to create magic on screen and the song Tum Kya Mile, only proves that KJo’s spell has worked once again. Alia Bhatt shot this song just after she gave birth to Raha
The actress gave birth to her daughter Raha in November 2022 and within 5 months Alia got back to work. The song was shot in March 2023, and in no way does she look like she recently gave birth.

The song Tum Kya Mile marks Ranveer Singh’s first love song on a mountain top. If you watched the video of the song you already know it’s a love song and not a dance number, it was the actor’s chance to prove his lip-syncing skill. No doubt, Ranveer was nervous but, aced it at every bit. Also, hats off to the actor for doing it in a perfect way as it takes a lot to not clench your jaws or bite your teeth in the freezing weather.
Director Karan Johar fell ill through the shoot
KJo expressed his sympathy for Alia Bhatt as she had to shoot the song in freezing weather while wearing Chiffon sarees. But, guess what? The cold didn’t seem to affect the actress much, but Karan fell drastically ill. He also calls it ‘a karmic punishment.’ But, the video is flawless and the director has done an impeccable job of bringing back his magic after a seven-year-long hiatus.

The song Tum Kya Mile unfolds a little about the plot
In the song’s video, Alia is seen travelling in a car for work and upon arriving at her destination, she is startled to see Ranveer. However, it turns out that she is simply imagining him. Holding a mic labelled ‘India Now,’ she appears to be portraying a journalist, expressing her yearning for her love, Rocky (played by Ranveer). Towards the end of the song, there’s a moment where Alia embraces Ranveer with a sense of longing, before snapping back to reality. This triggers an epiphany for her, suggesting she might be losing something or perhaps being overly consumed by love. We can only find out what happens next when the movie is released.
Rocky and Rani Kii Prem Kahaani will release in theatres on 28th July, 2023.
