Marcus Rashford has been spotted enjoying his off-season in California with Love Island beauty Natalia Zoppa just weeks after reportedly splitting from his fiancee. The Manchester United star has spent plenty of time in the United States this summer as he relaxes ahead of another huge season of football at Old Trafford.
Earlier this month, The Sun reported that Rashford has separated from his childhood flame Lucia Loi, calling off their engagement after proposing in May last year.
He was pictured arriving at a Miami hotel with personal trainer Courtney Caldwell shortly after news of his split broke out. And now, The Sun have captured more shots of Rashford spending time with female friends at high-end restaurant Nobu in Malibu.
The 25-year-old was spotted leaving the fancy dining spot with Caldwell, another unidentified female and Zoppa, who starred in ITV’s hit show Love Island in 2020.
She arrived on the scene during the much-loved Casa Amor period of the show, where new single ladies arrive to attempt to swerve coupled-up men’s heads.
However, her stay was unsuccessful, and she was later dumped from the villa after a public vote.
Zoppa, like Rashford, was born in Manchester, and the security-protected group were seen smiling as they left Nobu at around 1am, five hours after arriving.
The report claims Zoppa and Caldwell entered one car while Rashford hopped into another by himself.
Those interested in the United No 10’s love life may prove Caldwell’s presence notable after she was seen accompanying him to his hotel room in Miami at 5am earlier this month.
Caldwell helms the Big Booty University and also flogs workout and meal plans online, utilising sponsorships with major brands, including Gymshark.
A Sun source said: “Courtney is not only beautiful, she’s business-minded and incredibly smart. Marcus was lucky to spend time with her. She is really something special.”
Ten Hag will be relieved Rashford is spending his downtime wisely and will hope he’s ready to fire in another 30 goals for his side next season after a career-best 2022/23 campaign.
Rashford is bound to be delighted to return to Carrington to find England team-mate Mason Mount as one of Ten Hag’s newest recruits after United agreed a £60million deal with Chelsea on Thursday.
