Aadi Alahan (played by Adam Hussain) hasn’t had the best luck when it comes to women and it seems it will get worse as the arrival of Courtney Vance (Stephanie Davis) leads him astray.
Official Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Aadi and Courtney are set to embark on an affair, but will it put Aadi’s family at risk?
In upcoming scenes, Aadi exchanges a flirt with Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) as she arrives for work at the Corner Shop.
Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) explains to Amy that Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) will be showing her the ropes whilst he goes for a round of golf with Darren Vance (Ryan Early), a local entrepreneur.
During their game of golf, Darren reveals his business plans to Dev who suggests that Aadi might like to be his right-hand man, with the teen eagerly accepting the job.
Suited and booted for his first day, Aadi is excited to start his new job and is further chuffed when Amy invites him to join her at a charity gala that evening.
Wanting to make a good impression, Aadi decides to try and talk to Darren about Dev’s desire to invest, but it soon becomes clear that Darren’s main interest is to ensure Aadi picks up his wife from an event that night.
Aadi is gutted that he’ll have to miss the charity gala and let Amy down, possibly blowing his chances with her.
Aadi collects Courtney with the intention of driving her home, but when Courtney asks him to take her for a kebab, he soon finds himself enjoying her company.
Later, Darren reveals he has a meeting and Aadi hopes that he’s able to sit in, but is left disappointed when Darren explains he’d like him to take Courtney shopping instead.
During their trip, Aadi confides in Courtney on how he took the job in the hopes he would gain some business experience and share his own ideas, rather than being a PA and chauffeur.
Surprising Aadi, Courtney reveals she has an MBA and suggests sharing his ideas with her as a way to get them to Darren.
Together Courtney and Aadi cajole Darren into agreeing to a meeting with Dev to express their business ideas and expand their franchise.
As the meeting draws to an end, Aadi gets a text from Courtney telling him to meet her at Darren’s office.
Aadi arrives to find Courtney alone and she makes it clear she’s got the hots for him, with Courtney leaning in for a kiss, but how will Aadi respond?
Is this the start of a budding romance or something more sinister?
If Dev or Darren find out about their affair, the business proposition and Dev’s future could be at risk.
