Hari Nef Went From a Bob to Long Hair and Back Between “Barbie” Premieres

Barbie has almost always been popular, but in recent months, the love for the dolls has exploded exponentially as Barbiecore has taken over our social media feeds in anticipation of the upcoming live-action Barbie film. With less than two weeks until the film’s release on July 21, we’ve been adoring the cast’s press tour looks, and Hari Nef, who plays Doctor Barbie, specifically caught our eyes; within the span of three days, she went from mid-back-length hair to a chin-grazing bob.

Nef showed off her blunt haircut at the European premiere of the film on July 12. She stepped on the Barbie pink carpet in a black gown adorned with silverware. Her reddish hair was parted on the side, and her straight hair fell to the nape of her neck. Her side-swept bangs were curled slightly, so that the ends flipped away from her face, adding movement to her short hair.

She paired her sharp cut with some graphic eye makeup. It might look like a simple cat eye, but a closer peek will show a second curved line that was drawn from the inner corner area towards her brow area. A sliver of silver shimmery gleamed from her inner corner, mainly on her lower lash line.
