Confederation Of Paper Industries Joins Two Sides To Promote Sustainable Paper-Based Industries

0

Two Sides is excited to announce that the Confederation Of Paper Industries (CPI) will join as formal members, to better collaborate and collectively tell the sustainable story of paper products. CPI is the leading trade association representing the UK’s paper-based Industries, comprising paper and board manufacturers and converters, corrugated packaging producers, makers of soft tissue papers, and collectors of paper for recycling.

CPI unifies the UK’s Paper-based Industries behind the promotion of paper’s intrinsic value as a uniquely renewable and recyclable resource. They aim to enhance the industry’s competitiveness by advocating an appropriate legislative and regulatory regime in the UK, EU and globally, and also by sharing best practice within the CPI membership.

“We have worked with Two Sides for many years supporting their mission, objectives and achievements. CPI is pleased to take this further, formally supporting the campaign by becoming a member and working more collaboratively. This will help us communicate more widely the sustainability of our industry to our members and in turn, their customers.” says Andy Barnetson, Executive Director – Competitiveness of the Confederation of Paper Industries.

“Welcoming new members on board is always a pleasure. Our partnership with CPI shows better joined-up thinking and collaboration for the paper-based industries and how we must all communicate the facts that our products are made from natural, renewable and recyclable materials”. says Ian Bates, European Marketing and Partnership Director of Two Sides.

By joining Two Sides, CPI will help develop an increasing library of co-brandable fact-based communications tools, consumer research, industry-leading information and sustainability advice.
