Angela Kukawski’s cause of death has been revealed with former clients Nicki Minaj and the Kardashian family paying tribute to the 55-year-old Los Angeles business manager

She was found dead in the boot of her car last week, with police saying that Angela’s boyfriend, Jason Barker, 49, has been charged with murder.

Angela had a stab wound when found Simi Valley neighbourhood of the San Fernando Valley early Thursday morning.

Police believe that Angela was killed in the Sherman Oaks home she shared with Barker on December 22, who then put her body in his car and drove to a relative’s home in Simi Valley.

Ventura County Medical Examiner’s office has confirmed that Angela’s death has been ruled a homicide with the cause of death being sharp and blunt force injuries of the head and neck and strangulation.

Nicki Minaj, who had worked with Angela in the past, paid a moving tribute to her on Instagram, writing: “Hardest working, most reliable, sweetest person you could ever know. You didn’t deserve this, Angela. My heart is breaking for your children. Rest in peace.”

The Kardashian family also shared a tribute to the business manager, in a statement.

They said: “Angela was truly the best. She cared about everyone of us and made things happen that were impossible.

“She will be greatly missed and we send our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones during this most difficult time.”

Police said that the investigation began as a missing person’s case after Angela’s car was found in the 1500 block of Patricia Avenue around 2am on Thursday.

Angela had worked with a host of stars including Kanye West and rapper Tupac Shakur’s estate.

According to the website of Boulevard Management, who Angela worked for, the company specialises in “financial management services to entertainers, athletes, and high-net worth individuals.”

They state that Angela, along with her colleagues would help with financial planning and real estate purchases.

The site continues: “Our services include bill paying and banking, financial planning, estate and retirement planning, tax preparation and tax planning, among others.

“We will also assist in major purchases, such as real estate and automobiles, ensuring that you get the best price possible.”
