New Delhi: Amid growing demand to conduct CBSE term 1 exams 2022 online, the board has released a notification clarifying that mock test for downloading of Encrypted Question paper would be held as scheduled on Monday, November 15, 2021. In a notification, the board said that schools, where exams were scheduled to be held from November 16 and November 20, would be allowed to participate in the mock test. Schools will also be allowed to download the OMR sheets for both the classes X and XII examinations, which are slated for November. For the OMR of exams to be held in December, a separate communication will be sent. In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, the CBSE will conduct class 10, 12 board examinations in two terms. While examination for the first term of Class 12 will begin from November 16, Class 10 boards will start on November 17. Second term exams for both classes are expected to be held in March-April next year.
CBSE Term 1 Exam 2022: Important Details Students Must Know
- According to the CBSE, this time, the students will be given 20 minute-reading time instead of 15 minutes.
- The first term will have Multiple Choice Questions and the duration for solving it is 90 minutes.
- Every question will have four options, of which the student has to encircle the correct one.
- As every answer sheet will be scanned, no question can be left unanswered.
- Even if the students do not want to answer, then too, they will have to encircle an option provided for it.
- For Class 10 students, internal assessment marks have been divided into two parts — ten-ten each.
- For Class 12 candidates, it (internal assessment marks) has been divided into 15-15 marks.
- This time, the students have been given an option to appear in the examination centre of their choice as due to Covid-19, many of them were displaced.
- In the wake of pandemic, only 350 students will be allowed at an examination centre and a distance of six feet will be maintained among them.
- Every candidate and invigilator will have to wear mask as per Covid-19 guidelines.
