We’ve heard of the back of pickups getting transformed into impromptu wrestling rings at tailgate parties. We’ve heard of truck beds being converted into jacuzzis, too. Well, buckle up! Colorado beer-brewer Keystone Light wants Americans to transform their 4x4s with a purpose-built truck-bed pool. (We say “Americans” because, unfortunately, it seems like Keystone won’t ship the pools to Canada.)
Yes, the brewery has partnered with camouflage clothing maker Realtree to make a blow-up pool to fit the back of your pickup truck. The US$250 inflatable pool measures 66 inches by 62 inches by 21, and so can fit up to five adults.

What’s more, the pickup pool can hold up to 80,640 cubic inches of water, which Jalopnik calculates comes out to about 2913.12 lbs. That may seem like a lot of water, because it is; the good news is that payload falls within the load limits for something like a 3.5 Ecoboost or 5.0 V8 Ford F-150.
You can expect to reduce the pressure on your truck’s suspension, too, once the part starts. That’s because humans tend to be less dense than water, so dropping in your five buddies drops that total weight a little bit, making damage to your truck unlikely.
And if you weren’t already sold — Keystone Light and Realtree’s pool also comes with a matching cooler to store your beers in, a shirt to wear while you’re driving to your jacuzzi destination, and a pair of sunglasses to look cool in while you soak in the sun. Now, how about sending a few of those goodies across the border, hey, Keystone? We’d love to do some product testing.
