For its Summer 2022 campaign, Carhartt WIP has teamed up with Idriss Nassangar, a photographer based between Marrakech and Paris, to create a series of still and moving images.
Shot in Morocco, between the cities of Casablanca and Marrakech, the images spotlight garments from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection, including the label’s signature work vest and navy chore jacket, alongside the unique architecture and found street objects from the two locations.
For this campaign, Nassangar sought to capture the same feeling of closeness to his subjects, revelling in what defines their everyday life, from the minutiae to the mundane. Consequently, the visuals are both rich in colour and detail, a dynamic which was important to Nassangar, who described the work as a series of “stolen moments”.
